About Me.

Hi! Mallory Ransom,

I graduated from Texas Tech in December of 2021 with a Bachelor's in Anthropology and a minor in Chinese Language and Culture. Currently, I am a Museum Studies Graduate student at Baylor University and a graduate apprentice for the Public Engagement Team and the Collections Department.

My goal is to work in the exhibits department of a Natural History Museum within the museum field. I am particularly drawn to the exhibits department because it offers an ideal blend of creativity and academics. When I visit museums, I find myself most attracted to the exhibits that showcase cultural and human evolution, as well as historical exhibits.

PROFESSIONAL
GOALS

Only the Best

During my life, I have had many goals I wanted to achieve. Luckily, I have achieved a few things so far. Right as I finish this portion of my academic career, I hope to find a job within the exhibit field as I enjoy the culmination of academics and creativity that comes with designing exhibits. I hope to find myself at a History or Natural History Museum.

After a few years of establishing myself in the Museum world, I would like to return to school and earn my Ph.D. However, right now, I do not have a clue as to what I will study; I am sure my years in the field will assist me in figuring that out.
